Chavela's Mexican Cuisine

The Mexican Street Tacos were very good. The Mineras-Cheese Enchiladas was a good dish. We enjoyed the flavor of what seemed to be their homemade salsa hot and mild. However their exemplary service is what made the entire so great. They were busy and had very few staff yet they were very attentive and pleasant which is rare nowadays. It was late I ordered coffee with cream. The young man apologized that they only had milk… no problem for me. When they brought my coffee in and earthenware mug they also brought a small pitcher of milk that they had taken the time to take the chill from. That coffee was fantastic!! It was still warm throughout my meal. Smiles and thoughtful acts can make the meal so much more pleasant. Thank you

This is the most authentic Mexican food we have found since moving to the Midwest from Arizona/California a year ago. We have enjoyed it so much that we have been back 3 times in a week. Every time we try something else and it is consistently amazing!!!! Thank you for actually seasoning your food!!! The spice levels are fantastic! The salsas are amazing!!! Try them all! You cannot go wrong eating here.

A good choice for delicious lunch. Food is well made and they offer an impressive selection of salsas to satisfy all levels of bravery. Very kind waitress and perfectly fizzy soft drinks.

THE BEST SALSA EVVVERRR...I have eaten salsa all over and this is BY FAR the best!! Also that, "Huarache,"was insanely good. Service was very friendly, very polite, chill.

So many things to choose from and they’re all amazing! We have tried new things each time and every time they’re delicious. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and attentive and they work really hard to make sure customers are happy. And their salsa is some of the best in town!

We had lunch today, Sept 26, 2024, for the first time at Chavela’s and was very pleasantly surprised. Everything was great from the authentic taste, to the portions and great service. Something else that really impressed me was the fact that they give military discounts. That is HUGE!!Photos below of the cheese, enchiladas and fried ice cream

Tried this place for the first time tonight. I have to say that the food was amazing. I have the Chile Verde with rice and beans, the flavor was on point and super close to what would eat back at home in Tucson,AzMy wife had the carne asada street tacos and one birria, the flavor was just what you would expect. My mother in-law had the chimichang (ground beef). She said it was so good she had to eat it all. My father in-law had the pastor street taco's, I dont think he took a breath before finishing off 3 of them.This is a must go to and eat, we will be back to try more food .

The Camarones a la Diabla was so good that I felt like leaving a review. Very tasty!
